What is more important to you, effective products that stimulate repeat
sales or marketing hype?
Stick with me for a second and I will explain.
The Myostatin binder in the products currently available is called
Cystoseira Canariensis Extract (87% Fraction C) (All of which by
the way comes from the exact same source and supplier).
Fraction C is the active molecule. The chemical in Cystoseira Canariensis
that has an affinity for binding to Myostatin and thereby inhibiting its
effect of limiting muscle growth. Fraction C is a polysaccharide or more
specifically a sulfo-polysaccharide.
Why is this important? Because from basic Physiology and Biochemistry we
know that polysaccharides (up to 99%) get broken down into mono and di
saccharides (sugars) during digestion and unless the Fraction C molecule is
absorbed intact, it will be completely ineffective at inhibiting Myostatin.
This is why we apply an expensive process called enteric coating to our
product. Enteric coatings remain intact during digestion in the stomach,
then dissolve in the small intestine where absorption occurs. Enteric
coatings are common in the pharmaceutical industry where they are necessary
to prevent the breakdown of drugs during digestion and allow for their
absorption. if polysaccharides such as Fraction C are broken down during
digestion into sugars, unless they have been enteric coated and Cystoseira
Canariensis Fraction C Extract is a polysaccharide, why do some companies
not realize this and enterically coat their products?
Who knows? Maybe they are embarrassed by this oversight and want to
downplay it hoping no one will realize their mistake. Maybe they didn't
think about it or even worse, truly just don't understand. To be honest I
didn't start thinking about it until the research I was doing with test
subjects didn't show any results even with mega dosages. Then I realized
the problem wasn't that the Fraction C didn't work but that it never made
it into the bloodstream intact. Then after realizing Fraction C was a
polysaccharide and not getting into the bloodstream intact the solution was
obvious, Enteric Coating.
Next I tested the Enteric Coated Fraction C and the results and feedback
were impressive and the first Myostatin Binding product MyostimTM
was born.
Due to all of the people taking the uncoated knock off products on the
market backed by page after page of marketing hype, my fear is that
Myostatin Inhibitors will be seen as just another expensive and ineffective
bogus supplement, which simply isn't true.
So who makes Myostatin Binding products?
BiotestTM, CytodyneTM,
PinnacleTM, Champion NutritionTM
and Fitness EnterprisesTM do.
Whose Myostatin Binding products are Enterically Coated?
Currently Only Fitness EnterprisesTM and
Champion NutritionTM are.
Both Fitness EnterprisesTM and Champion
NutritionTM's products are a 30-day
supply but Fitness EnterprisesTM gives you
20% more of the expensive Fraction C Myostatin binder.
